Autograph Of The Week: Bob Feller

On April 16, 1940, Bob Feller was pitching for the Cleveland Indians in forty-seven degree weather on Opening Day at the White Sox Comiskey Park.

Feller's 1-0 no hitter was the first on Opening Day since Red Ames had one for the Giants in 1909, and Baseball Almanac is pleased to present his autograph!

"Every day is a new opportunity. You can build on yesterday's success or put its failures behind and start over again. That's the way life is, with a new game every day, and that's the way baseball is." - Bob Feller
