N.L.C.S. Most Valuable Player Award

Did you know that Fred Lynn (1982), Mike Scott (1986) and Jeffrey Leonard (1987) each won the League Cham pionship Award while playing on the losing team?

Livan Hernandez and Orlando Hernandez are the first set of brothers to win the the L.C.S. Most Valuable Player Award, Steve Garvey is the first player to win it twice, and Dave Stewart is the first pitcher to win it twice.

1988 was the first season in which a pitcher dominated each Series and won both (American & National League) of the possible awards & 1990 was the first season where the award was split between two players (N.L.).
