Box Score of Nolan Ryan No Hitter (First)
Nolan Ryan became the first right handed pitcher to throw a no-hitter for the California Angels organization on May 15, 1973. Ryan was coming off two bad starts and made up for them with this gem which featured at least one strikeout in every inning, a wicked curve, and his patented blazing fastball.

|
"From the sixth inning on, I was given a lot of space in the dugout. The Angels believed in the old saying: Don't bother a pitcher who's got the no-hitter going. Don't even talk to him."- Nolan Ryan
