Umpires: Nallin, Dinneen, McGown.

After Babe Ruth hit the home run, which landed on Lexington Avenue, he approached Detective H.C. Folger and told him, "I'd kinda like to have that one."

The detective found the young boy who had caught the ball and brought him to meet Babe Ruth. The boy exchanged the historic ball for an autographed ball and a twenty-dollar bill!

A 'newspaper man' interviewed the boy, whose name is not known, the next day and quoted him as saying, "Gee, Ruth's a swell guy."
