The Texas A&M University baseball program started in 1894 and Mike Balenti was their first player to make it to the Major League level.

The Aggies have made four trips to the College World Series (1951, 1964, 1993 & 1999), had two Big 12 titles (1998 & 1999) and won fifteen Southwest Conference titles (1931, 1934, 1937, 1942, 1943, 1951, 1955, 1959, 1964, 1966, 1977, 1978, 1986, 1989 & 1993).
