Marks That Will Never Be Broken

In 1973, the Commissioner of Major League Baseball openly spoke about ten marks that he personally thought would never be broken.

This "unbeatable feats list" was one of the first and many have appeared since that date and many have been broken. IMPORTANT NOTE: Charles "Old Hoss" Radbourn's wins record and Babe Ruth's walk record have both changed - due to research by baseball historians — since the publishing of this list.

"This is the United States of America and one citizen has as much right to play as another." - Former Major League Commissioner Ford C. Frick
