Satchel Paige was taught the lessons of life by living them... 'Satchmo' or Leroy Robert "Satchel" Paige had an unbelievable way with words that were more than legendary.

During an interview in 1981, Paige talked at length about the state of the game and gave his personal opinions in a list format to the Associated Press.
