Did you know that during the 1899 season, the Robison brothers (who already owned the Cleveland franchise) obtained the St. Louis Browns and renamed them the St. Louis Perfectos?

In 1899 the St. Louis Perfectos changed the name of the park they played in from Sportsman's Park to League Park.

Other changes for the franchise included new red socks (they were brown before) and two future hall of famers on their rosters: Jesse Burkett and Cy Young.
