Scarcely a baseball critic on the loop will concede that the Seattle players, man for man, measures up to those of some other teams. But 'Radiant Red' filled these athletes with so much 'pep' and determination that he turned what looked like a very ordinary ball team into a pennant winner. With Killefer it was a case of bulldog tenacity. There were many times during the heat of the pennant drive that the Indians appeared to be through, but Killefer always pulled them together and soon had his outfit 'up there' again.
