Double Play Records for Third Baseman

Why do we not have a record book section for most unassisted double plays in a game by a third baseman? Because the National & American League record is still only one.

Scott Brosius (July 6, 2000), Jack Howell (May 17, 1989), Ken McMullen (August 13, 1965) and Felix Torres (August 23, 1963) are the American League third baseman to ever start four double plays in a nine inning game.

When Harry Wolverton set the record for most unassisted double plays in a season by a third baseman he did so while appearing in only thirty-four major league games at third!
