Did you know that Wally Pipp of the New York Yankees is the only American League player to lead the junior circuit in putouts at first base four (1915, 1919, 1920 & 1922) different times?
The fewest putouts at first base in a complete game in either league is zero AND Rip Collins is the only Major League player in history to take part in two such contests - August 21, 1935 and June 29, 1937!
Jake Beckley (1892, 1894, 1895, 1900, 1902 & 1904), Steve Garvey (1974, 1975, 1976, 1977, 1978 & 1985), and Frank McCormick (1939, 1940, 1941, 1942, 1944 & 1945) each led the National League in putouts at first base on six different occasions!
