Game Winning Runs Batted In Records

During the 1988 season pitcher Tim Leary had three game winning runs batted in, but he does not share the record because one came as a pinch hitter.

Alan Wiggins in 1984, and Rafael Palmeiro in 1988, both played in more than one-hundred fifty games. Neither one had a single game winning run batted in making them the record holders for fewest game winning runs batted in during a full season of play.

Every child dreams of driving in the game winning run during a big game and in the American League only Kirk Gibson has done it five consecutive times.
