"I am the author of The Cultural Encyclopedia of Baseball. Thank you for the frequent references to my book on your web site. I have used your site frequently... You have done a great job putting together a first class site... The second edition of my book will be out sometime this spring, and I made reference to your site as one of my key sources." - Author Jonathan Fraser Light

Hello Baseball Fans:

First & foremost, thank you for considering a page sponsorship. Nearly every page on our site can be sponsored by you, your company, or by you for somebody else! Here are the details on how to sponsor a player's page or a team roster:

Player Pages (Examples: Hank Aaron, Babe Ruth & Albert Pujols) have a pre-built-in message area at the top and are our most popular / inexpensive way to show your support. A Hall of Fame player cost $10 per month (or $100.00 for a full year), a former All-Star costs $5 per month (or $50.00 for a full year), and all other players cost only $2.50 per month (or $25.00 for a full year). You provide one full year of sponsorship / advertising, depending on how YOU choose to use it, for as little as $25. If the player page had a message that began with Sponsor This Page, it is available and can be yours today. Pay first by sending a check or money order payable to Baseball Almanac at the address below.

Team Rosters (Examples: 1927 New York Yankees, 2004 Boston Red Sox & 2005 Chicago White Sox) also have a pre-built-in message area at the top and are our newest way to show your support. A World Champion team cost $10 per month (or $100.00 for a full year), a playoff team costs $5 per month (or $50.00 for a full year), and all other rosters cost only $2.50 per month (or $25.00 for a full year). You provide one full year of sponsorship / advertising, depending on how YOU choose to use it, for as little as $25. If the team roster had a message that began with Sponsor This Page, it is available and can be yours today. Pay first by sending a check or money order payable to Baseball Almanac at the address below.

Payments for pages already taken will be returned or exchanged based upon your request. If you are mailing a payment, please send us an email so we can reserve the page (up to 1-week) for you.

If you wish to sponsor ANY other page on our site — a Legendary List, a Fabulous Feat, an Award, a Quotations page, a Hitting Chart or something similar — please simply send us an email with a link and / or the name from the page that you want to sponsor. These pages are broken down by the order they appear from the main page. Our front page cost $200 per month. A main menu cost $100 per month. All other pages cost $25 per month.

In closing I extend my thanks to all those who have helped in the past and I hope you are on board in 2006. Baseball Almanac sincerely hopes that you choose to help in any way listed above. It would make all the difference in the world and if you can help in more than one way, thank you, thank you & thank you again.

Sincerely,

Sponsor a Baseball Almanac Page

In 2003 Baseball Almanac averaged 132,388 hits per day. In 2004 we averaged 179,878 hits per day. We have grown nearly every month since our start and in 2005 we wanted to exceed 200,000 hits per day — we finished with an average of 255,048 hits per day. Thank you for helping us continue to grow and we hope you consider sponsoring a page to help us continue this trend throughout 2009.

Baseball Almanac added an infinite amount of dynamic pages due to our historical baseball statistics tools and rosters scripts (Team-by-Team section). These two scripts cost more than $2,000 to build and in 2004 we added five more similar scripts. In 2005 we completely renovated our scripts making them faster and more information rich. We added new fields, new data splits, and even three new scripts. In 2006 & 2007 we upgraded all our scripts yet again, added a new one, and we want at least three more in 2009, but it won't be possible without your assistance.

Baseball Almanac also owns & operates other baseball sites (each one is listed below this box in our copyright section). Each site makes up a part of our Baseball Almanac "family" and they are all closely integrated and part of our effort to preserve baseball history.
